Job Description

Scripps College, a women’s liberal arts college with a strong interdisciplinary tradition, invites applications for the position of full-time Visiting Assistant Professor for the 2023-24 academic year to teach in the areas of either Cognitive Psychology or Affective Science. The teaching load is five courses for the year and advising on senior theses is anticipated. Courses will include Psychological Statistics in the spring and fall and courses in the candidate’s area of interest. Evidence of successful teaching experience is required; Ph.D. preferred. The salary for this position will range from $59,513 to $66,125 and will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.
