
The Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at New York University (NYU Wagner) seeks to hire a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor to support writing initiatives. The principal responsibilities include leading 14 to 16 recitations per academic year for the Introduction to Public Policy course (approximately eight sections of 10 students in the fall and six to eight sections in the spring). Additionally, the position will include co-curricular instructional support to the Capstone program and administrative responsibilities related to the Writing Center, Introduction to Public Policy recitations, while working under the supervision of the Director of the Writing Center to support the development of writing programs for Wagner's student populations. This is a two-year position ending August 31, 2028.
Job Posting Range:
NYU Wagner provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $80,000- $90,000 annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
