
The Telehealth Occupational Therapist (OT) specializes in the delivery of virtual care to patients. They may provide virtual care directly or facilitate delivery to other patients/clients within the practice. The Telehealth Occupational Therapist may also provide in-person house calls and/or SLC visits as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Patient Care Responsibilities
- Manage referrals and schedule in a timely manner at the direction of the leadership team.
- Perform patient evaluations in a timely manner at the direction of the leadership team.
- Document a communication note for any evaluation not completed within the specified timeframes, including all attempts made to schedule the patient.
- Supplement the virtual caseload with in-person house calls, SLC visits and/or other patient care related tasks as needed at the direction of the leadership team.
- Perform patient virtual screening in a timely manner at the direction of the leadership team fully document all requested screening information in applicable systems in a timely manner at the direction of the leadership team.
- Coordinate with regional clinicians for patient transitions including care coordination and/or evaluation shadowing.
Program Implementation & Coordination
- Apply all aspects of virtual programs i.e. specialist fully and consistently. This includes but is not limited to tests & measures, interventions and tracking of patients and outcomes.
- Participate in virtual care marketing as needed.
- Participate in telehealth teaching or training for field clinicians needed at the direction of the leadership team.
Virtual Initiatives, Team Collaboration & Meetings
- Participate in recurring meetings with leadership and Virtual Care Team members as directed by the leadership team.
- Participate in practice initiatives, sales, and marketing efforts as directed by the leadership team.
Performance & Compliance
- Meet contract quota expectations on a bi-weekly basis.
- Maintain a standard of excellence in KPIs, as monitored by the leadership team.
- Ensure compliance with all FOX, federal, state, and payer regulations, policies, and procedures in the delivery of outpatient rehabilitation services via telehealth.
Professional Standards
- Maintain professional attire and a neat appearance at all times.
- Effectively communicate with other team members and seniors.
REQUIREMENTS- EDUCATIONAL/CREDENTIALS
- Must be licensed as an OT.
- OT licensed in Maryland required.
- Must have Telehealth experience.
- Must meet all educational/credentials requirements of an Occupational Therapist.
- Must be willing to obtain and maintain licensure in other states outside of their home state as determined appropriate by leadership.

In Maryland, the standard base pay range for a Full-Time role is $70,000 - $105,000 annually with an opportunity to earn more. Part-Time and FOX Flex (PRN) will be pro-rated.
