Tutor Me Education is reshaping how students learn, and we're looking for licensed, compassionate Virtual Mental Health Counselors to provide 1:1 and small group emotional, behavioral, and academic support to students across the country. What you'll do:

• Deliver engaging, individualized virtual counseling and support tailored to each student's mental health goals, IEP social-emotional objectives, and unique psychological profile.
• Create structured intervention strategies and wellness plans that address school-related anxiety, executive dysfunction, depression, behavioral challenges, or social-emotional learning (SEL) milestones.
• Adapt support in real time based on student crisis levels, engagement, and emotional regulation, providing a safe, empathetic, and confidential virtual space.
• Track student progress and communicate effectively with families, school psychologists, and school district partners to ensure wraparound care and regulatory compliance.

Note: Many of our assignments operate in Pacific Time, so availability during PT hours is a plus.

Requirements

Requirements

• Valid state licensure/certification (e.g., LMHC, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or certified School Counselor).
• Experience working with children, adolescents, or young adults in a school, clinical, or tele-health setting.
• Deep understanding of IEPs, 504 plans, and how mental health impacts academic performance.
• Ability to design and deliver lesson plans aligned to student goals and accommodations
• Strong virtual instruction skills — comfort with video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and keeping students engaged online
• Ability to pass a background check
• Reliable computer, internet, webcam, and quiet workspace

Preferred (not required):

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
