
Purpose of the role
To build and maintain infrastructure platforms and products that support applications and data systems, using hardware, software, networks, and cloud computing platforms as required with the aim of ensuring that the infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure. Ensure the reliability, availability, and scalability of the systems, platforms, and technology through the application of software engineering techniques, automation, and best practices in incident response.

To be successful as a Virtual Desktop Operations Engineer, you should have:
Experience with Citrix technologies, including Citrix Cloud, CVAD, and Gateway
Background in Windows Server, Windows 11 Multi-Session, Active Directory, Group Policy (GPOs), DNS, certificates, and VDI profile management
Experience applying Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to improve platform reliability, availability, scalability, and performance
Other highly valued skills include:
Experience using monitoring, alerting, and telemetry tools such as Citrix Director, Citrix Analytics, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Splunk, Observe, and related platforms
Experience working within ITIL-aligned enterprise environments
Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is located in our New York, NY office.
Minimum Salary: $75,000
Maximum Salary: $135,000
