Virginia State Inspector / Emissions Inspector

Ted Britt Ford Lincoln is looking for a motivated and dependable Virginia State Inspector / Emissions Inspector to join our growing service team.

What You'll Do

• Perform Virginia State Safety Inspections in accordance with state regulations
• Conduct emissions inspections and testing
• Identify and document vehicle safety concerns accurately
• Communicate inspection findings clearly to service advisors
• Perform light maintenance and repair work as needed
• Maintain inspection certifications and stay current on state requirements
• Ensure all inspection paperwork and documentation is completed accurately
• Assist in maintaining efficient vehicle flow throughout the service department
• Uphold dealership and manufacturer standards for quality and customer satisfaction

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Current Virginia State Inspector License required
• Current Virginia Emissions Inspector Certification required
• Previous automotive service experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
