Job Description

Statement:

The VIP Host position markets the nightclub, restaurant, lounge and other services to guests while focusing on the development of a personal clientele list. The ideal candidate assists guests with special requests all while maintaining customer relationships and adhering to Resorts World Las Vegas Service Standards. All responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with all laws and regulations, as well as Resorts World Las Vegas policies, practices and procedures.

Primary Job Duties: – Includes but is not limited to:

  • Deliver a daily/nightly guest list of a preferred clientele on specified days. Book weekly industry groups on specified days. Follow and execute weekly host schedule and visitation rosters day/night.
  • Interact, entertain and provide guests with information in a professional, cordial and exemplary manner while recognizing and cultivating regulars. Respond to all guest inquires and requests.
  • Drive business through booking reservations, focus on and own casino marketing departments including table, slot, and international marketing.
  • Execute weekly goals (guest list, table requirements, and marketing plan).
  • Ensure guests are aware of events and supports the execution of them.
  • Participate in in-house modeling programs, special casino events, banquet service functions, marketing campaigns and advertising and performs model/presenter tasks. Pose for pictures as requested by management; appear in uniform or designated (logo) apparel for promotional/charitable activities at or away from venue.
  • Assist in the development of promotional plans in order to increase business levels and sales.
  • Maintain social platforms as indicated by management. Post events, communications and participate in marketing campaigns via social media.
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Qualifications: – Includes but is not limited to:

  • Employ with safe alcohol service, sanitation and safety protocol.
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, beer and mixed cocktails.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Polished appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience working in a day club or nightclub.
  • Working knowledge of table reservations software.
  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of previous experience as a VIP host and/or Promoter in a similar or related field.
  • At least 21 years of age.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Gaming registration
  • Alcohol Awareness License
