Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Vinyl Floor Fitter to join our growing team in Glasgow. Working within domestic properties you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and replacement of a variety of vinyl flooring products, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure, prepare, and fit vinyl flooring in occupied and void properties.
• Install sheet vinyl, safety flooring, and vinyl tiles to a high standard.
• Prepare subfloors, including smoothing and levelling as required.
• Remove existing floor coverings and dispose of waste materials safely.
• Carry out repairs and replacements of damaged flooring.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work.
• Provide excellent customer service when working in residents' homes.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience fitting vinyl flooring within domestic or commercial environments.
• Ability to install sheet vinyl, cap and cove flooring, and vinyl tiles.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of subfloor preparation and floor levelling compounds.
