About the role:
We are seeking a hardworking and capable Vineyard
Operator to be part of our vineyard team in Paringa, South Australia. Reporting to the Vineyard Supervisor, you will carry out a variety of vineyard duties in accordance with seasonal requirements. You will carry out our disease and weed control programs, conduct irrigation activities, maintain and operate all plant equipment and machinery, planting and vine development activities including re-planting and re-trellising. You will also participate in harvesting during vintage. This role is perfect for someone who has a genuine interest in viticulture and enjoys working outdoors.
About You:
You enjoy variety and working with a lots of different of machinery and equipment. You are someone with a strong work ethic, reliable, a good team player and have a steadfast commitment to safety and product quality. We are interested in candidates who are passionate about the wine industry and are willing to learn new skills. Ideally you have experience in viticulture or experience operating in similar environments.
Current chemical certificate and truck and fork lift license is beneficial but not essential as we provide training as required. This is an excellent work environment, hands on and interesting, with the best teams in the business. We encourage you to register
