We are looking for an experienced Village Manager who is passionate about resident relations, compliance, and day to day operations. This role is assisted by a support office to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the property. This leadership role requires a resilience leader, who is comfortable with managing resident relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small number of village employees to successfully carry out responsibilities and duties.
  • Problem solve and coordinate the day-to-day facility operations including maintaining the high standard of grounds and maintenance, amenities
  • Handle and resolve customer / resident complaints in a courteous and professional manner, build professional relationships.
  • Ensure the village is safe and harmonious for guests and staff.
  • Financial and revenue management and reporting of the properties
  • Responsibility for front office / admin duties across the properties including rostering and other administrative duties with support of an office administrator
  • Responsibility for on-call for emergencies within the Village.

What you need to succeed:

  • Previous Lifestyle/Community village management or similar management experience is preferred but not essential – transferrable skill sets considered
  • Strong communication and ability to lead a team
  • Sound technology and computer skills, knowledge of RMS or similar system
  • Well-developed organisation, and people management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to interact and negotiate with stakeholders such as challenging residents in a professional manner.
  • Strong awareness and demonstrated experience in safe work practices.
  • High integrity and values which are aligned with the business
  • Resilience and energy
  • Valid full Australian drivers license
  • First Aid certificate and Police check
