Job Role

The Vietnam Country Director will be responsible for leading and developing the company's logistics and supply chain operations in Vietnam. This role holds full accountability for market expansion, business development, operational execution, financial performance, and risk management within the country.

The successful candidate will build and execute a sustainable growth strategy for Vietnam, develop new business partnerships, oversee customer and supplier relationships, and ensure efficient logistics operations. The role also involves establishing governance structures, improving operational processes, and driving profitability across all logistics and supply chain activities.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Lead the overall business strategy and operations for the Vietnam market.
• 
  Identify and develop new business opportunities in logistics, freight forwarding, and supply chain services.
• 
  Build and expand partnerships with customers, suppliers, and logistics partners across Vietnam.
• 
  Develop and execute country-level business plans, budgets, and cost-control frameworks.
• 
  Oversee financial performance, profitability analysis, and ROI tracking for Vietnam operations.
• 
  Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and cross-border supply chain flows.
• 
  Ensure compliance with local regulations, customs requirements, and international logistics standards.
• 
  Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients in the region.
• 
  Implement risk management frameworks and ensure operational and financial risk mitigation.
• 
  Lead and develop local teams, ensuring strong execution, performance, and organizational discipline.

Requirements

• 
  Bachelor's degree or above in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade, or related fields.
• 
  Minimum 8–12 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain management, or international trade operations.
• 
  Strong understanding of international logistics operations, including sea freight, air freight, warehousing, and bonded logistics.
• 
  Proven experience managing country-level or large-scale regional operations is highly preferred.
• 
  Strong knowledge of Vietnam logistics regulations, customs processes, and local market practices.
• 
  Experience in cross-border e-commerce logistics or overseas warehouse operations is an advantage.
• 
  Strong business development capability with proven ability to grow new markets.
• 
  Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural communication skills.
• 
  Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis.
• 
  Fluent in English and Mandarin is required.
