Could you be the full-time VIE - Project Performance/PMO in Salzgitter, DE we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your project management and organizational expertise. Become a member of a cross-functional team, based in Salzgitter, which will develop a cutting-edge battery electric tilting train together with Alstom sites in various European countries. You’ll work alongside collaborative, dynamic, and supportive teammates.Together we will make a significant contribution to modern green energy soutions on rails.

Working closely with the Project Director and Deputy Project Manager, you'll help ensure the quality and on-time delivery of project reports and KPIs to all stakeholders. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as project management, engineering teams and site management), maintain and enhance project dashboards, and implement continuous improvement processes, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of supporting the Project Management team with reporting and KPI maintenance, and contribute to key milestones achievements for the project .

We’ll look to you for:

  • Preparing weekly/monthly project reports and ensuring consistency across them
  • Maintaining and enhancing KPI dashboards, including PowerBI tools
  • Tracking risks, savings and opportunities with the project team
  • Leading APSYS/Project Continuous Improvement Plans
  • Developing and implementing a REX process
  • Support site initiatives and internal as well as external audits
  • Supporting updates of the Project Management Plan and other key project plans
  • Driving the Development for Quality (DfQ) process and ensuring timely closure of KO/NKO items
  • Leveraging the company's AI tools to enhance the project team's performance
  • Supporting critical tasks for key project milestones as needed

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Technical Diploma, or similar
  • Experience or understanding of project management in an industrial environment (desirable)
  • Knowledge of KPI dashboards and tools like PowerBI
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite and IS&T tools
  • A willingness to learn new tools and processes
  • Basic knowledge of German and a willingness to improve your language skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Curiosity, problem-solving mindset, and a collaborative team spirit
