& Objective:
Within the Americas teams, the VIE supports both Marketing & Operations departments.
He/She closely collaborates with the Demand Planner across the full novelties cycle, from forecast preparation to launch follow-up.
The Operations & Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring seamless execution of Marketing initiatives, supporting physical channels through store openings, visual merchandising, visual rotations, brand visibility and assortment.
This position serves as a business coordinator, driving cross-functional projects, between Operations and Marketing teams at a regional and global level (Demand Planners & the Market Supply Coordinator and Marketing teams in Paris).
Regional scope for Americas: Local Market and Travel Retail USA + Latin America + Caribbean.
OPERATIONS
Novelties Forecast Support (4 annual cycles)
The VIE supports the end-to-end forecasting process for new product launches across four annual cycles (2 Fragrances and 2 Beauty).
Build client forecasting files integrating analytical features based on historical benchmarking
Consolidate, review, and analyze clients outputs
Partner with Area Managers to understand underlying assumptions and strengthen forecast reliability
Support the preparation of regional forecast presentation to top management and participate in alignment and challenge sessions with HQ and global teams
Integrate validated forecasts into tracking tools and manage ongoing updates (launch delays, cancellations, volume revisions)
Novelties Follow-up
The VIE owns the day-to-day coordination and monitoring of new product launches across the region and acts as a key interface between regional teams (Sales, Sales Administration, Marketing) and HQ.
Act as the primary point of contact between regional teams and HQ for all novelties forecasting and adjustment topics
Coordinate with HQ Demand Planners to ensure continuous alignment of forecasts
Manage all forecast updates through request submission to HQ, including:
Additional demand requests
Client releases
Reallocation of quantities across clients or markets
Liaise with HQ Market Coordinators to anticipate product risks, alerts, and supply constraints
Monitor post-launch performance versus forecast and proactively engage stakeholders in case of deviations
Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including:
Migration of tracking tools into Power BI
Optimization of Beauty PLV tracking processes
Transversal Missions
The VIE also contributes to broader operational planning and reporting processes.
Own the punctual forecasts end-to-end, and support the POSM catalog forecast:
Structure the calendar
Build forecasting files
Coordinate with stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Training, Clients)
Analyze outputs and submit to HQ within deadlines
In partnership with the Demand Planning Manager and the Sales Administrators, prepare and present the monthly operations meeting to the regional team (achievement on novelties, supply information, forecast calendar). Share monthly minutes and follow up on post-meeting action items with the team
Contribute to building and maintaining reporting and support tools for the team
Provide ad hoc support to the Finance & Operations team

Position Requirements
Experience in demand planning or a related planning role, ideally with a consumer or luxury goods brand, a distributor, or a retailer
Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Management or equivalent
Advanced Excel skills required (data handling, pivot tables); Power BI knowledge required
Ability to adapt communication to different stakeholders: HQ, regional teams, and management
Strong interpersonal, partnership and collaboration skills
Rigorous, detail-oriented and proactive
Expertise in Project Management including excellent multi-tasking, prioritization, and organizational skills
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with constant changes
Curious about products, client behaviors, competitive landscapes
Fluency in English and French required, Spanish is a plus
