Join our affiliate TotalEnergies EP Congo in Pointe-Noire !

The Corrosion Inspection Department is responsible for managing the integrity of the affiliate's equipment. This includes establishing inspection programs for pressure equipment, piping, structures, floating units, pipelines, and lifting devices. The department is undergoing a major transformation, integrating new technologies and digital innovations to optimize its processes.

As an Inspection Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and manage inspection schedules across a wide range of equipment (pressure equipment, piping, structures, floating units, pipelines, and lifting devices)
  • Work closely with field teams to monitor ongoing inspections, technology deployment projects, and technical studies
  • Coordinate with planning teams to ensure seamless integration of inspection activities into operational plans
  • Design and maintain visual management tools, including Power BI dashboards, to track inspection budgets and performance
  • Contribute to performance analysis and ensure high-quality execution of inspection activities in compliance with company standards and specifications

You will take part in offshore missions (including one annual one-week inspection campaign) and travel to onshore sites on a monthly basis.

Candidate Profile

Expected qualifications

  • Engineering degree or Master degree specialising in Materials / Corrosion / Mechanics


Technical skills

  • Technical skills required in Materials Science


Computing skills

  • Design and operation of databases, data analysis
  • Construction of complex and dynamic dashboards
  • Advanced Excel level and intermediate in PowerBi
  • Knowledge of SAP would be a plus


Languages

  • French: C1
  • English: B2
