Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate all activities related to the integration, validation, testing and acceptance (VTA) of onshore and offshore infrastructure subsystems.
  • Define VTA objectives and processes for infrastructure subsystems.
  • Make decisions and arbitrations in defining the strategy for the infrastructure subsystems, optimizing test programs and taking advantage of all testing campaigns.
  • leveraging all integration test campaigns and test platforms throughout the project execution.
  • Pilot, in close collaboration with the project requirements manager, the validation of the contractual requirements across all infrastructure subsystems, from the testing of the infrastructure subsystems, from factory acceptance testing to final acceptance testing, in order to provide all tests required for final acceptance by the customer.
  • Lead on-site testing campaigns, at subsystem level.
  • Identify and escalate risks or issues for VTA infrastructure subsystems (compliance with applicable regulations, compliance with technical specifications, compatibility with other subsystems, etc.). Act as the primary contact person for all stakeholders regarding VTA activities of infrastructure subsystems.
  • Report on the performance of infrastructure subsystems.
  • Manage T&C gate reviews (GR) from the first equipment installation gate (FEI) review to the final quality approval (FQA) review.approval (FQA) review.
  • Participate in all infrastructure subsystem gate reviews from preliminary gate review (PGR) to final quality approval review (FQA).
  • Oversee integration, validation and acceptance of infrastructure subsystems by manufacturers.
  • Oversee customer/operator acceptance of infrastructure subsystems.
  • Supervise the VTA WP QCDP.

Requirements:

  • To have an engineering degree in mechanical electricity or similar.
  • Knowledge of railway systems.
  • Electric power distribution systems.
  • Signaling, communication and SCADA systems.
  • Experience in testing and commissioning.
