Papua LNG is a large‑scale LNG development implemented in a complex social and environmental context, subject to high scrutiny from lenders, project partners, and government regulators.
In anticipation of Final Investment Decision and future project phases, a significant increase in HSSE data volumes is expected. This role contributes to ensuring that robust data management systems are established in advance, supporting transparency, compliance, and informed decision‑making.
As part of the HSSE / Methods, Monitoring & Evaluation (MME) team, the Evaluation & monitoring Data Analyst supports the structuring, consolidation, quality control, analysis, and visualization of HSSE data across the Papua LNG Project.
The role covers data related to Health & Safety, Environment, Biodiversity, Social Performance, and National Content, and contributes to the development of robust, reliable, and auditable data management systems aligned with TotalEnergies standards, IFC Performance Standards, and lenders requirements.
This position plays a key role in ensuring monitoring, evaluation, and reporting readiness ahead of Final Investment Decision (FID), and supports the ramp‑up of post‑FID HSSE monitoring and reporting activities.
* Main missions
1/ HSSE Data Management & Structuring
•Support the creation, structuring, and maintenance of HSSE databases and data repositories.
•Administer and support existing HSSE data systems and tools (e.g. Synergi, EQuIS, KoboToolbox, Borealis, Excel).
•Assist with data collection, consolidation, validation, and quality control.
•Create or restructure databases where required to ensure consistency, traceability, and auditability
•Contribute to the organization and structuring of SharePoint and HSSE document repositories in line with Company Management System (CMS) requirements.
2/ Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
•Prepare HSSE datasets and contribute to the definition and tracking of key performance indicators aligned with IFC Performance Standards.
•Support and optimise internal, regulatory, Joint Venture, and lender monitoring and reporting cycles (monthly, quarterly, annual).
•Ensure datasets are accurate, complete, and suitable for management decision‑making and external disclosure.
3/ Dashboarding & Data Visualization
•Maintain and enhance existing HSSE dashboards and reporting tools (Power BI, Excel, SharePoint).
•Develop new dashboards and visualizations to support HSSE performance monitoring and management reporting.
•Translate complex datasets into clear, user‑friendly visual outputs.
4/ Data Process Optimization & Digitalization
•Simplify and streamline HSSE monitoring and reporting processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
•Support the digitalization and automation of manual data workflows using sustainable and resilient solutions.
Expected qualifications:
Important: the candidate must have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in alignment with role he/she will perform as a VIE (visa requirements)
