Missions :
The Data Ambassador supports the Operations transformation agenda (LEAP/MDM) by activating local data governance and accelerating data-readiness — spanning the Product, Supplier, Customer, and Chart of Accounts domains.
This role onboards and coaches local stewards, orchestrates data inventory & documentation, data‑quality improvements, and promotes the adoption of governance tools and practices across data domains. By facilitating harmonization, documenting and improving data processes, and fostering data literacy, the Data Ambassador helps embed sustainable ways of working that elevate planning and execution performance.
The mission is to translate global standards into local practice, ensuring consistent rules, clear ownership, and measurable quality gains across the four‑country scope.
Key Accountabilities :
Launch local readiness for Product, Supplier, Customer, CoA for Italy.
Coordinate DQ checks and issue backlogs; align owners and due dates with clear SLAs.
Verify corrections in ERPs and reflect outcomes in MDM / target views.
Facilitate adoption of global standards and LEAP / MDM models.
Clarify definitions, ownership, and stewardship; promote simple governance rituals.
Support alignment sessions to converge on practical, shared rules.
Collect profiling insights and recurring issue patterns; surface root causes and fixes.
Advocate process improvements that reduce rework while staying compliant with standards.
Track acceptance against clear criteria; escalate blockers with evidence.
Promote consistent use of DQ tools, catalogs, and glossaries; maintain evidence templates.
Help affiliates produce snapshots, mapping sheets, and sign‑off records ready for rollout.
Coordinate simple lineage / interface registers to support BI traceability.
Onboard and coach stewards / SMEs; run clinics and share “how‑to” playbooks.
Animate a four‑country community of practice; showcase quick wins and KPIs.
Reinforce value creation (planning accuracy, execution reliability) to sustain engagement.
Translate global requirements into local actions; report progress and risks.
Synchronize with PR Italy Data Lead, Ops Master Data Specialist, Global Data Governance teams on standards and acceptance gates.
Prepare the company for migration milestones with auditable handover packs.
