THE ROLE

The Process Efficiency Specialist is responsible for driving and leading GBS PH efficiency initiatives, ensuring their effective execution, identifying new opportunities for improvement, and fostering collaboration across service delivery teams. Will also be engaged in mapping current processes, designing optimized workflows, conducting time and motion studies, and collaborating with delivery and BA teams for automation, analytics, and platform enhancements. This role ensures process integrity, compliance, and measurable business impact.

Purpose

To deliver end-to-end process transformation through process discovery, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives, enabling Lean and Automation driven enhancements.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

Lead/Facilitate implementation of Global Programs / Initiatives

  • Execute efficiency and transformation initiatives defined at the global level within the GBS Philippines organization.
  • Ensure alignment with GBS PH Transformation Head for all local strategies with global objectives and priorities.
  • Monitor and control the effective implementation of these initiatives, ensuring they deliver the expected outcomes

Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and analyze new opportunities for efficiency improvements in collaboration with Service Delivery teams.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize processes, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the organization

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with Service Delivery teams to ensure seamless execution of efficiency initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive collaboration and support for efficiency efforts

Process Discovery & Mapping

  • Conduct workshops with agency SMEs to capture as-is processes.
  • Document processes using BPMN standards and metadata.
  • Ensure alignment with global modeling standards and governance.

Design of To-Be Processes

  • Work with delivery teams to co-create optimized to-be processes.
  • Apply Lean principles to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
  • Incorporate compliance, controls, and customer experience requirements.
  • Standardize the projects within process families
  • Look up for the opportunities to fix the upstream/downstream processes

Volume Study & Capacity Planning

  • Analyze transaction volumes and workload distribution.
  • Recommend capacity creation strategies for low/peak loads and SLA adherence.

Reporting and Analytics

  • Regularly report progress, challenges, and outcomes of efficiency initiatives to GBS Philippines Transformation Head.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to measure the impact of initiatives and identify areas for further improvement.
  • Develop dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track efficiency metrics

  • Monitor post-implementation performance and recommend refinements.
  • Update Process maps as changes occur.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

  • A first experience in Process Engineering or BPM roles.
  • Fluent english both written and spoken
  • Hands-on experience in Lean methodology and process optimization.
  • Prior experience in shipping and logistics industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong expertise in process mapping tools (Signavio preferred).
  • Exposure to automation technologies (RPA/IPA) and analytics platforms.
  • Proficiency in capacity planning and time-motion analysis.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong project management skills to drive initiatives from inception to completion.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
