Context & Environment

Join a team at the heart of TotalEnergies’ strategic decision-making in the Republic of Congo.

Reporting to the Business Manager, you will contribute to the economic evaluation of oil projects and support the subsidiary’s investment decisions.

You will participate in project profitability analyses, long-term planning activities, and discussions with partners. You will work in an international environment, interacting with technical, financial, and strategic stakeholders.

Activities

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting economic studies on the subsidiary’s projects.
  • Analyzing the profitability of development and optimization projects.
  • Contributing to the development and updating of economic models.
  • Participating in the subsidiary’s Long-Term Plan (LTP) activities.
  • Preparing presentations and briefing materials for shareholder partners.
  • Supporting the organization of technical and financial meetings.
  • Monitoring economic trends and competitive developments across key markets and industry players.
  • Drafting analytical reports and executive summaries for decision-makers.
  • Assessing the fiscal, contractual, and economic impacts of projects.
  • Collecting and consolidating data required for economic analyses

Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (minimum 5 years of higher education) from an Engineering School or Business School, with a specialization in Economics or Finance.
  • Knowledge of economics and corporate finance.
  • Initial professional experience in an industrial environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • English proficiency atB2 level or higher
  • Fluent French.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to an international environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the oil and gas and energy sectors.
  • Proficiency in Power BI or familiarity with similar data analysis and automation tools.
