Job Description

The Wright Center is looking for a visual storyteller capable of creating compelling audiovisual stories using video, photography, lighting, motion graphics, sound design, and more for social media, televisions, websites, and other media. The Video/Visual Content Creator and Coordinator will be expected to perform tasks as assigned with limited supervision and is expected to maintain the highest levels of quality and consistency while adhering to brand guidelines and deadlines.

This individual will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. To ensure success, candidate should be innovative, organized and self-motivated with a keen interest in driving strategic messages to key internal and external audiences.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:

This position reports to the Creative Services Manager. This position has no direct reports.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES and FUNCTIONS:

While living and demonstrating our Core Values, the Videographer & Video Content Creator will:

  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team and filmmaker to develop project plan for TWCCH/TWCGME Documentary project
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and storyboards for video projects
  • Plan and executive video shoots, including but not limited to, setting up equipment, framing shots, and directing talent
  • Capture high-quality footage using professional cameras, lighting, and audio equipment
  • Edit raw footage to create polished and engaging videos that align with brand guidelines and project requirements
  • Incorporate graphics, animation, and special effects to enhance the visual appeal of videos when necessary
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video production techniques, equipment, and software
  • Manage and maintain video equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition for shoots
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure video projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Continuously seek feedback and strive for excellence in every aspect of video production
  • Adhere to copyright laws and obtain necessary permissions for music, images, and other copyrighted material used in videos
  • Assist with planning, creating, and managing eye-catching video and creative content across all digital and social channels, including storyboarding, and video concepts
  • Proficiency in lighting
  • Understands design, fonts, and composition
  • Proficient in sound and audio cleaning
  • Create high-quality visual content with an exceptional range of creative, technical, and documentary imagery, with professional cameras and equipment
  • Archive and organize content appropriately in a media library
  • Create companion video stories that accompany press releases and feature stories
  • Create instructional videos for employees, board members, the public
  • Work collaboratively with executive leadership to prepare video reports, secure sound bites, etc.
  • Manage visual content across digital and social channels, including website, social platforms, and all digital marketing efforts
  • Assess assigned projects and workload in order to manage time efficiently and effectively
  • Meet deadlines with little to no supervision
  • Stay current on industry trends and new video editing techniques
  • Take direction well and is able to collaborate with or execute on others’ ideas
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Meet The Wright Center for Community Health and its affiliated entity The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education EOS© People Analyzer Tool
  • Buy in and experience working in the EOS® model (strongly preferred)
  • Mission-oriented; represents the enterprise in a professional manner while demonstrating organizational pride
  • A bachelor's degree, preferred, preferably in Digital Media Production and/or Graphic Design
  • 5 years of relevant video editing/shooting/graphic design experience preferred
  • Proven experience as a Videographer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing video production skills
  • Proficiency in operating professional video cameras, lighting equipment, and audio recording devices
  • Expertise in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
  • Solid understanding of cinematography principles, composition, and visual storytelling techniques
  • Knowledge of audio/video production and editing
  • The ability to operate cameras, audio recorders and/or lighting equipment
  • Experience working with a team or crew to execute a video project
  • Experience with Davinci Resolve, motion graphics, animation, Photoshop, Illustrator, and post-production experience
  • Digital photography experience
  • Graphics experience
  • Computer proficiency required including Microsoft and Adobe Premiere and Creative Suite required
  • Drone license a plus
  • Strategic thinker with solid conceptual abilities
  • Meticulous accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational ability
  • A multi-tasker and list maker who enjoys working at a fast pace with multiple deadlines
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Valid PA driver’s license
