Job Description

Purpose of the Position

Reporting to the Graphic Design Production Lead, the Videographer is responsible for planning, producing, filming, and editing video content for various La Vie en Rose and Bikini Village platforms. This individual plays a key role in showcasing products, marketing campaigns, brand initiatives, and the customer experience through creative, engaging, and high-quality visual content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in video projects from concept development through final delivery, including the creation of concepts, mood boards, storyboards, scripts, and shot lists.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing, Creative, Content, E-commerce, Social Media, Motion Design teams, and the Art Director to develop content aligned with brand objectives and visual identity.
  • Capture high-quality video content while ensuring excellence in framing, lighting, composition, and audio.
  • Direct models, talent, and collaborators during shoots to achieve the desired creative outcomes.
  • Perform footage review, video editing, color correction, audio optimization, and all post-production activities.
  • Produce creative and engaging video content for websites, social media, marketing campaigns, and digital displays, while adapting deliverables to various platforms and formats.
  • Occasionally manage, update, and ensure compliance of in-store video playlists according to marketing campaigns and established distribution schedules.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintain proactive communication with stakeholders, and meet deadlines, business priorities, and quality standards.
  • Organize, archive, and maintain video digital assets while ensuring the proper operation, maintenance, and evolution of production equipment.
  • Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and creative tools, including artificial intelligence, music research, sound libraries, and audio content platforms to support innovation and production efficiency.

.Requirements

  • College diploma or university degree in Video Production, Film, Multimedia, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in video production, filming, and editing.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign) as well as tools such as DaVinci Resolve and Figma.
  • Strong knowledge of filming, lighting, and audio recording techniques, combined with experience creating content for web and social media platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingualism (French and English), both spoken and written, required to communicate and collaborate with partners, vendors, and stakeholders outside of Quebec.
  • Openness to new technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, with a strong desire to learn, innovate, and continuously improve processes and practices.
  • Knowledge of commercial photography, motion design, and animation is considered an asset.
  • Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms and filming with models, influencers, or content creators is considered an asset.
