MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented VTC Technician to join our team in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Leads the operation and maintenance efforts for audiovisual technologies.
Responsible for developing and implementing plans for the troubleshooting, repair, and upgrade of AV system equipment.
Interfaces with users, technology vendors, and stakeholders to ensure quality and user experience expectations are exceeded, and emergent industry best practices are routinely considered.
Provides direction and mentorship to subordinate staff.
Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma
7+ years of experience with 5+ years of relevant experience.
A candidate holding a relevant bachelor’s degree may be granted credit for 2 years’ additional relevant experience for that extra education.
Experience in the service or installation of audio, video, and/or audiovisual presentation systems and IT/networks.
DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with military/diplomatic operations working within a J-6/G-6/S-6 Directorate or with Special Operations Forces (SOF) or the Department of State (DoS) facilitating user access to and use of video display and conferencing across multiple commands and agencies.
Technical and maintenance skills to perform audiovisual troubleshooting. In-depth understanding of broadcast and video, multimedia, video teleconferencing systems, video and audio streaming technologies and standards.
Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.
Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current/active Secret security clearance.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
