Guide participants through live video collection sessions for AI training datasets

We're scaling our AI data collection operations and need skilled moderators to conduct live video sessions with participants. You'll guide people through technical setup, coordinate video calls, and ensure smooth data collection for advanced AI training projects

What You'll Do Daily

Live Session Moderation

• Conduct 3-5 video sessions per day with individual participants (30-45 minutes each)
• Guide participants through technical setup including remote desktop access and browser configuration
• Moderate structured interview sessions where participants answer simple questions on camera
• Handle real-time troubleshooting for video, audio, and software issues

Technical Support & Coordination

• Help participants install and configure Amazon DCV remote desktop software
• Coordinate Microsoft Teams video calls and screen sharing
• Walk participants through browser setup and camera/filter configurations
• Resolve technical issues quickly to maintain session flow

Participant Management

• Schedule video sessions with participants across different timezones
• Send pre-session instructions and collect required information (headshots, IP addresses)
• Provide friendly, professional guidance to ensure participants feel comfortable
• Manage session logistics and ensure all data collection requirements are met

Quality Control & Documentation

• Verify technical requirements are met before sessions begin
• Ensure video quality and audio clarity meet project standards
• Document any technical issues or participant feedback
• Maintain detailed session logs for quality tracking

Your moderation directly enables the collection of high-quality video datasets that train AI systems for advanced computer vision applications. You'll be instrumental in ensuring smooth data collection processes that support breakthrough AI research and development.

Work Structure & Compensation

Schedule: Flexible European hours with 3-5 sessions per day

Session Duration: 45 minutes per participant

Compensation: €5-9/hour based on experience and location

Work Type: Remote freelance position with potential for long-term engagement

What You Bring to the Role

Technical Support Experience

• 1-2 years experience in customer support, technical support, or video conferencing roles
• Comfortable troubleshooting common software and browser issues
• Experience with remote desktop applications and video calling platforms
• Basic understanding of networking, cameras, and audio setup

Communication Excellence

• Excellent English communication with clear, patient speaking style
• Ability to explain technical processes to non-technical participants
• Professional demeanor and friendly approach to customer interaction
• Experience guiding people through step-by-step technical procedures

Video Session Skills

• Comfortable conducting live video calls with strangers
• Ability to manage multiple participants and coordinate schedules
• Experience with video conferencing platforms (Teams, Zoom, etc.)
• Good troubleshooting instincts for real-time technical problems
