Job Description

With best-in-class banking, credit card and wealth management services, Chase helps nearly 1 out of 2 American households make the most of their money. As one of the most followed financial brands, Chase connects with millions of people across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and X. Our Social Media team continues to grow, and we’re seeking a Vice President, Video Producer to join our team in New York.

As a Video Producer Vice President within the Chase Social Media team, you will independently Lead end-to-end production across a portfolio of Chase Social video projects—taking work from brief and concept through shoot, edit, approvals, and publish. You will partner closely with social strategists, creative and brand partners, and senior stakeholders across the firm to produce engaging, platform-native storytelling that aligns with Chase’s brand standards and business objectives. You are equally comfortable producing a repeatable content series, capturing executive storytelling, and operating on-site at events—whether that means shooting on iPhone, directing a lean crew, or field-producing remote production. You bring strong editorial judgment, a passion for human-interest storytelling through a financial services lens, and the operational rigor to run smooth productions in a highly regulated environment; you will help evolve Chase’s social video approach by staying ahead of platform trends, testing new formats, and improving performance through data-informed iteration.

  • Consult and collaborate across the organization providing guidance for video needs tied to events, recruiting, internal/external moments, senior leader engagements, and cross-channel storytelling—ensuring social-first principles where relevant
  • Measure and optimize by reviewing performance metrics (e.g., view-through, retention, engagement) and applying learnings to creative iterations and future production plans; mentor and raise the bar by sharing best practices, templates, production standards, and creative feedback with teammates and partners; contribute to team-wide process improvement Required qualifications, capabilities and skills: 7+ years of video production experience producing compelling content in a comparable environment (news, television, agency, editorial, brand/corporate) Demonstrated expertise producing for social platforms, with a portfolio that reflects platform-native storytelling, strong craft, and an understanding of audience behavior Strong production fundamentals: DSLR/mirrorless videography, multi-source audio capture, interview lighting, and on-location problem solving; comfortable working lean and fast Excellent editorial judgment and storytelling ability, with strong writing/scripting skills and the ability to shape narratives quickly from complex or sensitive topics Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, cross-functional environment Knowledge of digital video best practices (formats, codecs, aspect ratios, compression, sound mix, captions, deliverable specs) across major social platforms Understanding of rights and clearances including copyright, trademark, licensing, music usage, releases, and fair use Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and present confidently to senior partners A detail-oriented, solutions-first mindset, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to adjust quickly when priorities shift Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills: Experience producing content within financial services or other regulated industries, including navigating legal/compliance reviews and documentation; experience with motion design/animation, storyboarding, and/or template-based graphic systems for social Still photography experience and/or ability to capture assets for thumbnails, key art, and social cutdowns; familiarity with distributed production models (remote shoots, vendor kits, virtual interviews) and vendor/crew management Bachelor’s degree in Media Communications, Film/TV Production, Journalism, or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience) Advanced post-production skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro and After Effects; familiarity with Illustrator/Photoshop
