
Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is looking for someone to join our Marketing team as a Video Producer in Pullman, WA.
As a Video Producer at SEL, you will create compelling visual stories that communicate our mission, showcase customer success, and help audiences understand the technologies and solutions that make electric power safer, more reliable, and more economical. This role combines creative storytelling, technical production expertise, and strategic collaboration to deliver engaging content across a variety of platforms and audiences.
You will manage projects from concept to completion, including pre-production planning, filming, editing, and final delivery. Working closely with writers, designers, photographers, animators, project managers, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders, you will translate complex technical topics into clear, impactful visual content. Success in this role requires strong videography and editing skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to balance multiple projects while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
The ideal candidate is an experienced visual storyteller who enjoys both hands-on production and creative problem solving. They are equally comfortable developing strategic concepts, operating production equipment in the field, and crafting polished content in post-production. You will partner with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities, shape creative approaches, and recommend video solutions that support business and marketing objectives. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a talented multidisciplinary creative team.
Video Producers at SEL work closely in a team that includes photography, graphic design, and 3D animation to produce high-quality visual content that represents the company’s brand and communicates the story behind how SEL makes electric power safer, more reliable, and more economical. We work across field, studio, and office settings and frequently collaborate with experts in research and development, sales and customer service, human resources, and business divisions to educate both internal and external audiences.

Pay Range Data: $37.45 - $55.28 an hour
We set starting pay based on job-related factors such as your experience, training, knowledge, and skills. We are looking to fill this position at the Video Producer level, and we welcome applicants with a range of experience. Depending on your background, we may consider you for a different level, with compensation aligned accordingly.
