About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Data Management Specialist to oversee our extensive video and image
datasets. This role requires deep technical knowledge of both video and image processing, with
expertise in handling big data workflows and optimizing data pipelines for computer vision
applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage comprehensive video and image data cleaning operations to identify and fix corrupted
  or incorrectly cropped content
• Verify alignment between media content and associated labels/purpose for all the data types
  Perform quality control at the frame level for videos and pixel level for images
• Design and maintain a robust database system for all visual assets with accurate and detailed metadata.
  
• Develop automated pipelines for dataset creation tailored to specific computer vision training needs.
  
• Implement real-time data management systems for seamless integration of new content.
• Establish reliable backup solutions and disaster recovery protocols
  Optimize data infrastructure to eliminate bottlenecks and ensure high-speed access.

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing large-scale video and image datasets
  Expert knowledge of video transcoding, compression formats, and codec specifications.
• Strong understanding of image processing techniques and formats
  Experience with big data technologies and distributed storage systems.
  
• Advanced database design and management skills.
• Proficiency in metadata extraction, validation, and standardization
  Experience building scalable data pipelines for high-volume media processing.
• Knowledge of computer vision training data requirements.
• Familiarity with cloud storage solutions and content delivery networks.

Technical Skills:

• Proven experience managing large-scale video and image datasets
  Expert knowledge of video transcoding, compression formats, and codec specifications.
• Strong understanding of image processing techniques and formats
  Experience with big data technologies and distributed storage systems.
• Proficiency with video processing tools and frameworks
  Experience with image processing libraries
• Knowledge of data storage optimization for large media files.
• Understanding of efficient data access patterns for high-throughput applications.
• Familiarity with media asset management systems.
• Ability to implement and maintain data quality monitoring system.

  1- Experience supporting machine learning or computer vision teams
