About the Role

We're looking for a talented Video Editor to join a fast-growing marketing team and help create engaging short-form content for podcasts and social media.

This is a long-term remote opportunity for someone who enjoys producing fast-paced, attention-grabbing videos and understands what performs well across today's social platforms. You'll work closely with the team, receiving raw footage, creative direction, and assets to transform into polished, high-performing content.

What You'll Do

  • Edit 20–30 short-form videos per month for social media platforms.
  • Produce engaging talking-head videos and podcast clips
  • Create dynamic edits using captions, motion graphics, transitions, zooms, sound effects, and visual enhancements.
  • Optimize videos for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
  • Collaborate closely with the team and incorporate feedback efficiently.
  • Deliver high-quality work while meeting deadlines and maintaining quick turnaround times.
  • Ensure consistency across all video content and maintain a polished visual style.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience editing short-form social media content.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing talking-head videos, podcast clips, or marketing content.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.
  • Experience creating engaging edits with captions, motion graphics, transitions, zooms, and visual effects.
  • Excellent storytelling skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work with EST time zone overlap

Nice to Have

  • Experience editing content for marketing agencies, creators, or podcasts.
  • Familiarity with current trends across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Experience with Adobe After Effects or motion graphics.
  • Basic understanding of social media performance, audience retention, and content optimization.

Portfolio Requirements

Your portfolio should include examples of:

  • Short-form social media content.
  • Talking-head videos.
  • Podcast clips.
  • Videos featuring captions, motion graphics, transitions, and engaging visual effects.
