Job Description

RYZ Labs is looking for a dedicated Video Editor to join the creative team of one of our clients. The role involves creating impactful memorial keepsake videos and ensuring high-quality video content that aligns with our brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and produce 2-4 minute memorial videos, ensuring consistency in quality and style.
• Work closely with the Head of Customer Success, as well as families who have lost a loved one, to incorporate family photos, audio/video clips, and personalized elements into memorial keepsakes/slideshows for funerals and/or services.
• Collaborate with the internal team, the CEO, and the Head of Growth to take the creative lead on editing video content for marketing/brand.
• Utilize DaVinci Resolve for video editing and enhancement.
• Identify patterns and establish standardized video formats for streamlined production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver video content promptly.
• Maintain organized video files and project documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in video editing with strong proficiency in DaVinci Resolve.
• Ability to recognize design patterns and standardize video templates for efficiency.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and storytelling.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and the capability to work collaboratively with a remote team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Canva, Figma, or similar design tools is a plus.
• Experience with internal team tools, such as Slack, Google Docs/Drive, and Notion, is also a plus.
