Job Description

Project Overview: 
The project involves editing vertical anime videos by assembling scenes, refining pacing, integrating sound effects and music, applying transitions, and ensuring each episode delivers an engaging, polished viewing experience. The goal is to create high-quality, addictive content that keeps audiences coming back for more.
 
Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Delivers polished, client-ready video assets with minimal supervision.
  • Able to handle moderate to complex editing tasks while maintaining quality and consistency.
  • Produces outputs that require minimal internal revisions.
  • Performs quality checks before submission and validates own work.
  • Effectively manages multiple tasks and priorities while meeting project deadlines.
  • Works collaboratively with project managers, designers, animators, and other stakeholders.
  • Communicates project risks, blockers, and timeline concerns proactively.
  • Provides constructive feedback during reviews and contributes to maintaining quality standards.
  • Takes initiative to mentor junior team members by sharing editing techniques, workflow improvements, and best practices.
  • Adapts quickly to new clients, workflows, editing styles, and production requirements.
  • Demonstrates ownership by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and editing processes.
  • Continuously develops technical and creative skills through self-learning and feedback.
  • Comfortable transitioning into more complex projects and taking on increasing responsibilities.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Consistently follows internal production processes and file management standards.
  • Maintains professionalism when handling revisions and client feedback.
  • Reliable, accountable, and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with the team.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment with shifting priorities.
Requirements: 
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Familiar with video editing best practices, including pacing, transitions, color correction, audio cleanup, and motion graphics.
  • Comfortable working with different video formats, codecs, and export settings
  • Basic understanding of motion graphics, compositing, and visual effects is an advantage.
