We are looking for a Video Editor

This is not a "cut the clips and add music" role. This is ownership.

You'll work closely with leadership and our creative team to own the visual output of our brand across every platform- from scroll-stopping YouTube edits to high-converting Reels, Shorts, and paid ads. You take a project from raw footage to polished, ready-to-publish content with minimal oversight- on time, on brand, and built to perform.

If you're technically sharp, obsessive about detail, and you thrive on taking full ownership from first cut to final export- this role was built for you.

Requirements

• Write and test high-performing ad copy across platforms - iterate on winning hooks, competitor analysis, and conversion data
• Own email strategy and execution end-to-end - automations, broadcasts, deliverability, autoresponder sequences
• Lead new funnel launches - copy, setup, coordination, and QA
• Contribute to core marketing copy across ads, emails, VSLs, landing pages, and funnels
• Track competitor ads, funnels, and offers - decide what's worth testing
• Own customer avatar and voice-of-customer research - translate insights into copy that converts
• Review all marketing materials for FTC compliance before publishing
• Support media buying through performance analysis and creative testing ideas
• Deliver monthly performance reports - campaign data, email metrics, funnel performance
• Streamline workflows using AI - SOPs, naming conventions, tracking systems
• Collaborate with the Organic team on winning hooks and messaging

Experience

• Proven portfolio of short- and long-form video edits (YouTube, Reels/Shorts/TikTok, paid social) with results or reach you can point to
• Fluency in a professional editing suite (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, or CapCut Pro) and a motion/design tool (After Effects or equivalent)
• Comfortable producing both organic social content and direct-response video ads

• Skilled Video Editor - You independently produce engaging content with captions, clean transitions, b-roll integration, and a sharp sense for pacing and storytelling.
• Motion Graphics Specialist -You craft polished animations, kinetic typography, and dynamic transitions that elevate the story.
• AI-Augmented Editor - You use AI to speed up your workflow - captioning, transcription, b-roll sourcing, rough cuts, upscaling, and audio cleanup - without ever letting it flatten the creative quality. It's a tool that makes you faster, not a substitute for your judgment.
• Detail-Oriented & Organized - You juggle multiple projects, hit deadlines, and keep content flowing smoothly across platforms. You triple-check your work; nothing goes live unless it's polished.
• Creative Eye with a Critical Lens - You can spot what makes a thumbnail pop and a video convert- and you know how to fix what isn't working.
• Strong Communicator & Team Player - You collaborate well across teams and share insights clearly in an async-first environment (Slack/Loom).
• Fluent in English - You write and speak in flawless English, so captions, titles, and slides are grammatically clean and resonate with a native-speaking audience.
