PeopleCert is looking for a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our dynamic Marketing team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping our brand presence through high-quality video content that supports international campaigns, corporate communications, social media, and digital experiences across multiple platforms.

As a Video Editor, your tasks will include the following:

  • Edit engaging and high-quality video content for marketing campaigns, social media, corporate communications, events, and branded initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with videographers, graphic designers, and the wider Marketing team to bring creative concepts to life.
  • Transform raw footage into polished productions aligned with brand identity and campaign objectives.
  • Enhance content using color correction, audio editing, subtitles, transitions, motion graphics, and visual effects.
  • Optimize videos for different platforms, formats, and audience experiences.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Maintain well-organized project files, assets, and media libraries.
  • Stay current with video editing trends, emerging technologies, and post-production best practices.
  • Ensure their work and presence are aligned with company’s core values — quality, innovation, passion, integrity, clarity, and velocity.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media, Multimedia, Post-Production, or a related field preferred.
  • 6+ years of professional experience in video editing, post-production, or multimedia content creation.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional editing, storytelling, and creative skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Solid understanding of pacing, narrative flow, sound design, color grading, and post-production workflows.
  • Experience creating digital and social-first video content.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within international teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Availability and willingness to support international projects and productions.
  • Excellent command of the English language (C2 level certification desired; LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus).
  • Advanced computer literacy is required; ECDL Advanced level certification is desirable.

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)

Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.

  • If we work on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:
  • If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK.
