Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in editing videos for social media, YouTube, and internal use

• Create thumbnails for videos to be posted on various social media platforms

• Organise and manage raw footage, project files, and assets

• Cut and assemble recorded footage, add basic transitions, captions, and effects to match the content and enhance viewer engagement

• Learn and understand the content, mood, tone, and style of each project and brand for effective storytelling and efficient editing

• Follow brand guidelines and editing standards

• Implement feedback from senior editors and other team members to improve the quality and efficiency of the work

• Contribute ideas to improve video storytelling and audience engagement

• Stay up to date with editing trends, tools, and techniques

Requirements:

• Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or other similar video editing software

• A minimum of 2 years of professional video editing experience

• A portfolio or samples of previous editing work is required to apply. Please provide links to your most relevant projects.

• A keen eye for detail, pacing, and visual storytelling to ensure a polished final product.

• Understanding of aspect ratios and formats for different platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, TikTok)

• Ability to take constructive feedback and learn quickly

• Strong organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.

• Good English comprehension skills ability to understand spoken and written English clearly for accurate editing, subtitles, and team communication

• We are looking to fill this position ASAP, so candidates who can start immediately will be given priority.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with motion graphics (After Effects or similar)

• Experience with colour correction and audio balancing
