Vice President of Technology

As we continue expanding into new markets and scaling our operations nationally, we are seeking a Vice President of Technology to join our Leadership Team and help shape the next phase of our growth.
Reporting directly to the President & CEO, the VP of Technology will serve as the senior leader responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive technology vision that enables the company’s long-term strategy, operational performance, and evolving guest experience.
The Opportunity
This role represents a unique opportunity to build and lead enterprise technology strategy at a company where innovation, hospitality, and people-first leadership are deeply intertwined.
The Vice President of Technology will oversee the full technology ecosystem — including infrastructure, enterprise systems, digital platforms, and data architecture — ensuring all solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with the needs of a rapidly growing, multi-unit business.
Working in close partnership with executive leadership, this role will play a foundational part in modernizing systems, strengthening data capabilities, and enabling technology solutions that support both operational efficiency and meaningful human experiences.
Key Areas of Leadership
The VP of Technology will:
- Set and lead a long-term technology strategy aligned with business growth and organizational priorities
- Guide enterprise systems modernization and digital transformation initiatives
- Oversee secure, reliable infrastructure across all locations
- Strengthen data governance and analytics capabilities to support decision-making
- Partner cross-functionally to implement scalable, integrated technology solutions
- Build and develop a high-performing technology organization
QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For
We are seeking a strategic and collaborative technology leader with a proven track record of leading enterprise-scale technology environments in complex, multi-location organizations.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Significant executive technology leadership experience (typically 10+ years)
- Demonstrated success leading enterprise strategy, modernization, and digital transformation initiatives
- Expertise across infrastructure, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and data architecture
- Experience in retail, hospitality, consumer, or similarly operationally complex environments
- Exceptional ability to partner with senior leaders and translate business priorities into technology strategy
Equally important, this leader will demonstrate a leadership style grounded in collaboration, curiosity, and a strong commitment to building trust across teams.
Work Environment
This hybrid role is based in Portland, Oregon, with regular in-office presence at the Portland Support Center.
Travel is expected periodically to support site visits, cross-functional partnership, and key strategic initiatives.
Compensation & Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $200,000 – $225,000, with bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare coverage, retirement benefits, flexible paid time off, and, of course, ice cream perks.
