This is a senior level management position in the Prudential’s Corporate Tax Department which requires a leader of people and a team player that is highly organized, responsive, and dynamic.
We are seeking a VP of Tax with exceptional accounting skills and a deep understanding of financial statements and numerical analysis. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a hands-on approach to reconciliations, financial analysis, and problem-solving. Attention to detail and the ability to dig into complex accounting issues are essential. You should be comfortable working with large data sets, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial records. Candidates must have the proven ability to manage multiple projects while producing accurate and timely results. This position will report to the company's Chief Tax Accountant with succession potential.
The current employee work arrangement for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis asdeterminedby your business. Your manager will provideadditionaldetailsrelativeto the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $205,600.00 to $308,300.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
