What this role is all about:

The Vice President, Talent & Culture is responsible for shaping the culture, talent, and workforce experience that fuel Beem's growth and future success. Leading an integrated Centre of Excellence spanning learning, talent, culture, people programs, and people analytics, this role ensures Beem has the capabilities and environment required to thrive through growth, transformation, and change.

As the architect of Beem's leadership and talent strategy, this leader will shape the talent density, culture, and leadership capability required for Beem to grow, adapt, and thrive. Through people-first leadership and workforce insight, they will translate strategy into the organizational capabilities and experiences that turn ambition into impact.

This role is open to a hybrid work arrangement in the Lower Mainland or Kelowna region of British Columbia. While we will accept applications from elsewhere in Canada, we anticipate filling this role with a candidate located in British Columbia.

What you’ll do:

Learning & Development

  • Define Beem's enterprise learning strategy ensuring development opportunities are accessible, scalable, and aligned to business priorities and future workforce needs.
  • Ensure Beem's learning ecosystem strengthens capability, leadership, and readiness for the future.
  • Champion a modern learning ecosystem that makes learning and growth part of how work gets done at Beem.

Leadership & Talent Enablement

  • Shape Beem's leadership and talent strategy, ensuring leaders thrive through growth, complexity, and change.
  • Lead the evolution of performance, talent, succession, and career development practices that strengthen leadership readiness and organizational capability.
  • Establish modern talent frameworks and leadership pathways that strengthen talent density and future workforce capability.

People Programs & Enablement

  • Define the enterprise approach to culture, employee experience, and people programs, ensuring initiatives align with Beem's people-first strategy and desired organizational outcomes.
  • Establish an integrated employee listening strategy that turns workforce insight into meaningful action and continuous improvement.
  • Shape and champion a people-first, high-performing culture grounded in trust, belonging, and organizational effectiveness.

People Analytics & Systems

  • Define the enterprise direction for people analytics and workforce intelligence, turning workforce insight into stronger decisions, culture health, and future workforce readiness.
  • Ensure workforce insight informs executive decision-making, workforce planning, and organizational investment priorities.
  • Provide strategic oversight of people systems, technologies, and workforce data capabilities, ensuring they support organizational effectiveness, scalability, and future workforce readiness.

What you’ll bring:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience leading talent, leadership, learning, or organizational effectiveness functions.
  • 5+ years in senior leadership roles, shaping strategy, leading through growth, and navigating transformation.
  • Proven success building leadership capability and talent pipelines that drive growth, performance, and culture outcomes.
  • Experience turning workforce insight into meaningful action and business impact.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

  • Compensation: Annual salary range of $163,400 - $204,300 with pay based on your skills and experience, and performance bonuses tied to shared goals
