Job Description

At NAVEX, we’re transforming the world—making it safer, more ethical, and ensuring every voice is heard. That’s real impact.

Our high-performance culture is driven by our values. We move with speed, passion and purpose — as one team. We are bold in our ideas, accountable in our actions, and committed to doing the right things right.

The VP of Strategy & Operations sits at the heart of the strategy and growth organization — combining strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution. You will work directly with the CEO, Chief Strategy Officer, and senior leaders across the business on NAVEX's most important strategic priorities: from defining where the company goes next, to driving the cross-functional programs that get it there. This is a global role.

This role combines strategic thinking with operational leadership and serves as a key connector across departments including finance, product, sales, marketing, customer success, and people operations.

What you’ll get:
• Meaningful Purpose. Your work helps organizations operate with integrity and protect their people—at a scale few companies can match.
• High-Performance Environment. We move with urgency, set ambitious goals, and expect excellence. You’ll be trusted with real ownership and supported to do the best work of your career.
• Candid, Supportive Culture. We communicate openly, challenge ideas—not people—and value teammates who embrace bold thinking and continuous improvement.
• Growth That Matters. You can count on authentic feedback, strong accountability, and leaders invested in your success so you can achieve real growth.
• Rewards for Results. We provide clear, competitive compensation designed to recognize measurable outcomes and real impact.
What you’ll do:
• Lead and own high-priority strategic initiatives across the business from scoping through execution, delivery, and institutionalization
• Drive cross-functional accountability by establishing operating cadences, governance models, and execution frameworks that enable sustainable results
• Partner closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to lead and operationalize critical company-wide programs
• Shape NAVEX’s mid-and-long term strategic direction across markets, products, customer segments, and adjacent growth opportunities
• Build and lead corporate development capabilities, including market scanning, M&A target identification, and build/buy/partner evaluation
• Own competitive intelligence and market analysis efforts, translating insights into actionable strategic recommendations for stakeholders
• Support investor relations and Board engagement activities by developing strategic presentations, updates, business narratives, and executive communications
• Ensure the CEO is strategically prepared and aligned for internal and external stakeholder interactions
• Champion AI-led transformation initiatives across the organization to improve scalability, productivity, and operational effectiveness
• Identify, evaluate, and drive deployment of AI-enabled tools and automation solutions across business functions
• Design and implement scalable operational solutions by identifying organizational bottlenecks, process inefficiencies, and execution gaps
What you’ll bring:
• Master’s degree in business or related field preferred
• 12+ years of experience in McKinsey/Bain/BCG/Kearney/Oliver Wyman/EY Parthenon and/or corporate strategy, growth strategy, or related roles
• Progressive leadership experience scaling operations in a high-growth environment
• Experience in SaaS or Technology is preferred
• Proven ability to demonstrate measurable outcomes across a complex global organization
• Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with strategic planning, business intelligence, and operational frameworks
• Strong executive communication and cross-functional influence skills
• Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication that translates complexity into clarity
• Culture Agility. Comfort working in a fast-paced, candid environment that values innovation, healthy debate, and follow-through
• AI Readiness. Curiosity and willingness to use AI and emerging technologies to elevate your work and deliver smarter outcomes
• Fuel performance and outcomes. Leverage your job competencies and champion NAVEX’s core values
Our side of the deal:
• We’ll be clear, we’ll move fast, and we’ll invest in your success. You deserve to be supported, challenged, and rewarded for the impact you make—and we commit to doing that every step of the way.
• The starting pay for this role is $215,000 per annum with a 20% MBO. Discover how you can grow, lead, and make an impact by visiting our career page to learn more.
