The Markets Systems team is responsible for delivering first-in-class systems for trading, market data dissemination and surveillance monitoring in cash and derivatives markets. We play a critical role in managing the full software development cycle, including architecture design, development, testing and implementation of our mission critical systems. We also partner with infrastructure and cyber security team to operate our systems in such fast growing financial markets in Hong Kong.

Job Duties:

• Responsible forlow latency systemdesign anddevelopment of exchangetrading andsurveillanceplatformsforcashand derivative markets

• Collaborate with user divisions todefinesolution based on business use cases

• Take full ownershipand accountabilityof project delivery

• Lead theinvestigation and resolution of productionincidents

• Manage projects withcomplex stakeholdersthatinvolve internal, externalpartiesandregulators

• Assess technological risk and drive mitigationactions

• Collaborate withtechnologyteams on activities with common systemsimpacts

• Drivetechnical excellenceacross the teams

• Uphold compliance with organization policies and standards

JobRequirements:

• Bachelor’s ormaster’s degree inComputerScience, Information Technology, Engineering, ora relateddiscipline.

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experiencein system design anddevelopment,ideally withinbanking,financial servicessectors.

• Strong interestintechnologies and able to understandnew technologiesin detail very quickly

• Solid experienceofdelivering projects with complex stakeholders

• Solid experience onsystemdesign and developmentof low latency and high throughput system

• In-depth knowledgeofresiliency designthatsupportshigh availability

• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and people management skills

• Experienced in hands-oncoding,e.g.Java, C++, Python,webor network programming

• Good understanding ofcyber security risk and technology control

• Good understanding of cash or derivatives market
