Securitized Products Capital Markets (SPCM) originates, structures, and executes asset-backed and structured finance transactions across a wide range of asset classes. The business works closely with corporate clients, financial sponsors, institutional investors, and banking coverage teams to develop innovative capital solutions and optimize financing strategies.

Role Description

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Vice President to join the Securitized Products Capital Markets team, with a focus on Data Center Finance. The team advises leading data center operators, digital infrastructure platforms, hyperscale sponsors, private equity firms, and investors on structured financing solutions to support the rapidly growing demand for digital infrastructure.

This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of securitized products, infrastructure finance, private credit, and capital markets. The Vice President will lead transaction execution, support client coverage efforts, develop innovative financing solutions, and collaborate across Investment Banking, Fixed Income, Infrastructure, and Sponsor Coverage teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead execution of complex structured finance and capital markets transactions for data center and digital infrastructure clients
• Develop financing solutions utilizing securitizations, asset-backed facilities, private placements, warehouse facilities, and other structured products
• Manage transaction processes from origination through execution, coordinating across clients, investors, legal counsel, rating agencies, and internal stakeholders
• Build and review detailed financial models, cash flow analyses, capital structure evaluations, and financing alternatives
• Partner closely with industry coverage bankers, sponsors, infrastructure teams, and sales & trading professionals to originate new business opportunities
• Prepare client presentations, transaction marketing materials, and strategic financing recommendations for senior management and board-level audiences
• Evaluate industry trends, financing markets, and investor demand across digital infrastructure, data centers, AI-related infrastructure, and adjacent sectors
• Mentor and develop junior team members while helping drive a collaborative and high-performing team culture
• Participate actively in client meetings, investor discussions, and business development initiatives

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, structured finance, securitized products, project finance, infrastructure finance, leveraged finance, private credit, or capital markets
• Strong understanding of debt capital markets and structured financing products
• Experience executing complex transactions and managing multiple workstreams simultaneously
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities
• Strong project management skills and ability to operate effectively in fast-paced environments
• Excellent presentation, written communication, and client relationship management skills
• Demonstrated ability to work across multiple product and industry teams
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong attention to detail and commercial judgment
• Knowledge of digital infrastructure, power infrastructure, telecommunications infrastructure, data centers, or related sectors is preferred
• Series 7, 63, and 79 licenses

Expected base pay rates for the role will be $275,000 per year for VP, at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
