About the Role

Dow Jones Energy is seeking a transformational Vice President to lead and scale its Energy, Chemicals, Metals, and Fuel Supply business across the APAC Region.

This is a top-tier regional executive leadership role with full P&L accountability and strategic ownership of one of the world’s fastest-growing and most structurally complex energy markets, where demand growth, energy transition, and evolving regulatory landscapes are reshaping global commodity flows.

The Vice President will define and execute a multi-year regional growth strategy, drive predictable and material revenue and margin expansion, and position Dow Jones Energy as mission-critical market infrastructure across the APAC region.

This role operates as the most senior commercial and strategic representative for Dow Jones Energy in APAC, engaging at the highest levels of government, sovereign entities, national oil companies, and multinational corporations.

You Will

  • Define and execute the long-term sustainable commercial and growth strategy for Dow Jones Energy across the APAC region, driving revenue growth, market expansion, and client engagement aligned with global priorities.
  • Own full regional P&L accountability, delivering sustained year-over-year revenue and margin growth.
  • Establish predictable and material revenue streams across subscriptions, enterprise agreements, benchmarks, and consulting engagements.
  • Partner closely with global leadership on forecasting, investment planning, and long-term growth initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a multi-country organization of senior leaders and fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and sophisticated consultative selling.
  • Build leadership capability and develop succession across the region.
  • Evaluate and optimize regional organizational design, investment planning, and strategic hiring decisions.
  • Position Dow Jones Energy as a mission-critical market intelligence partner for the region’s most influential institutions.
  • Oversee the integrity of the regional sales pipeline, ensuring world-class CRM hygiene and providing the global executive committee with high-confidence forecasting and market risk assessments.
  • Represent Dow Jones Energy with C-suite executives, regulators, ministries, sovereign wealth funds, and national oil companies across the APAC region.
  • Act as the final escalation authority on high-value enterprise negotiations and complex commercial frameworks.
  • Apply deep subject-matter expertise across oil, refined products, chemicals, metals, and energy transition markets to identify emerging opportunities and translate structural market shifts into monetizable growth.
  • Influence global product strategy, pricing, and regional go-to-market decisions, ensuring APAC market needs are reflected in Dow Jones Energy’s roadmap.
  • Orchestrate collaboration between News, Product, and Research teams across Dow Jones to deliver holistic, 360-degree solutions to complex energy conglomerates.
  • Operate effectively within a complex global organization, partnering closely with Product, Editorial, Technology, Marketing, and Operations teams to deliver integrated, high-impact solutions.
  • Provide the Executive Committee with advanced forecasting, risk assessment, and geopolitical analysis.
  • Ensure governance, compliance oversight, and operational discipline across the region.
  • Serve as the senior executive interface between APAC operations and the global Dow Jones Energy leadership team.

You Have

  • 18+ years of executive leadership experience in energy, commodities, chemicals, metals, or energy data and analytics.
  • Demonstrated success owning regional P&L and delivering predictable, material revenue and margin growth.
  • Recognized industry authority within APAC energy and commodity markets.
  • Executive credibility with governments, national oil companies, sovereign entities, and multinational corporations.
  • Proven experience structuring and negotiating complex enterprise and consulting agreements.
  • Deep understanding of regional regulatory frameworks and geopolitical dynamics.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multi-country, multi-cultural senior leadership teams.
  • Strong commercial judgment, capital allocation insight, and investment evaluation capability.
  • Exceptional executive communication and influence skills.
  • Fluency in English required; additional regional language proficiency a plus.
