As a Vice President, Program – Third Party Oversight in our APAC Corporate Third Party Oversight team, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering our strategic agenda, working closely with functional SMEs and business stakeholders to ensure regulatory and program requirements are met across the region. You will drive high-visibility, cross-functional projects and initiatives from start to finish including process implementation, developing a deep understanding of outsourcing regulations and their application to our global frameworks, processes, data, and systems. In this role, you act as the central point for representing location-specific requirements in a risk-based manner, collaborating with global teams, regional counterparts, and local stakeholders to deliver solutions that are fit for purpose and compliant across 14 APAC markets.

Job responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of, third party governance, and risk management projects and programs, ensuring milestones are achieved and progress is communicated to APAC and global stakeholders
- Design and implement processes in partnership with APAC and global teams.
- Identify problems/ needs and drive effective solutions, escalating and resolving issues while managing program risks and dependencies
- Engage stakeholders through requirements gathering, feedback sessions, and focus groups, fostering transparent and collaborative communication
- Shape and execute strategic and tactical solutions for key third party oversight programs, coordinating meetings, documentation, and action plans
- Perform analysis on data and processes to drive decisions and solutions.
- Advance third party oversight processes to enhance operational efficiency and control effectiveness
- Serve as a subject matter expert, managing stakeholder expectations and driving integration of program enhancements
- Champion stakeholder engagement in risk evaluation and change management, supporting regional governance and information sharing
- Deliver clear, executive-ready presentations and reports to communicate program objectives, progress, and outcomes
- Represent location-specific requirements to global in a risk-based manner to ensure compliance across APAC markets
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Financial Investment, or other related disciplines
- Minimum of 12 years of experience within a major bank or financial institution, including a minimum of 6 years in project management, process improvement, change management, or governance within complex, regulated environments. Demonstrated ownership and accountability for end‑to‑end delivery of initiatives.
- Direct, hands-on experience in third-party risk management, outsourcing governance, and regulatory remediation within APAC financial services
- Demonstrated success delivering complex and regulatory projects with experience in implementation with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Planner), with the ability to leverage AI and automation tools to enhance productivity and delivery.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously and connecting the dots between them.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex business requirements to diverse audiences.
- Proven leadership and experience driving firm-wide change initiatives, collaborating with senior business leaders and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to proactively identify key issues, analyze data, and develop actionable recommendations, and a solid understanding of risk management and control principles, including regulatory reviews and supplier lifecycle.
- Proven strong collaboration skills with senior business leaders and multiple stakeholders. Confident in defending viewpoints with a strong factual basis, even in the face of resistance.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Proficient with Project Management tools such as Microsoft Project, Monday.com, myPM, JIRA, Powerpoint, Excel.
- Ability to speak and read in Mandarin to support engagements in Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, and Taiwan
- Familiarity with APAC regulatory requirements for outsourcing and practical application to business processes
- Experience in people management
- Experience in tools such as Visio, MS Planner and Confluence
- Experience working in a multinational environment
- PMP, PROSCI or equivalent certification.
