Some of what you will do:

The Vice President, Print is responsible for the overall strategic leadership, growth, and operational excellence of the Print division. This executive role oversees all aspects of print sales, operations, and sales enablement, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and objectives. The VP will drive revenue, margin, and EBITDA growth, foster a high-performance culture, and champion innovation across the division. This role is accountable for developing and executing strategies that position the company as a market leader in print solutions, while building and mentoring a dynamic leadership team..

Specifically, You Will:

  • Lead the end to end strategic direction of the Print division, developing an omni channel (stores, online, direct sales) strategy that positions Staples as a market leader in print solutions.
  • Own the full P&L for the Print business, driving revenue, profitability, margin expansion, and operational excellence across all print business lines.
  • Oversee national Enterprise Print Sales, setting sales strategy, enabling performance through training and tools, and accelerating customer acquisition and growth.
  • Champion innovation by identifying market trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities to keep Staples at the forefront of the print industry.
  • Build, mentor, and inspire a high performing leadership team, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Strengthen enterprise relationships by serving as the executive sponsor for key clients and collaborating cross functionally to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Drive operational and financial optimization, including vendor partnership management, cost efficiencies, KPI development, and long range forecasting


Some of what you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Print Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in the print industry, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful business strategies that drive growth and profitability.
  • Experience managing large, cross-functional teams and leading large-scale projects.
  • Exceptional strategic leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Demonstrated senior sales abilities with a proven record of exceeding targets.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Deep understanding of print technologies, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Experience in sales enablement, including program design and implementation
