Vice President of Sales - Roofing

Location: Tampa/ Clearwater, FL
Territory: Florida
Compensation: OTE $150K++
($70K-$85K Base Salary + Uncapped Commission + Company Vehicle Allowance)

We are looking for a high-energy, growth-driven Vice President of Sales who knows how to recruit elite talent, build culture, create momentum, and drive serious revenue growth.

The Opportunity

As Vice President of Sales, you will oversee and scale the entire Florida sales organization, leading strategy, recruiting, coaching, accountability, and expansion initiatives.

You will play a critical role in shaping the future growth of the company while building a culture centered around performance, leadership, discipline, and winning.

This is not a desk job.

We are looking for a visible leader who leads from the front, develops people, creates systems, and inspires teams to perform at the highest level.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Leadership & Team Development

  • Recruit, hire, train, and mentor high-performing roofing sales professionals
  • Build and scale self-generating sales teams throughout Florida
  • Develop future leaders and establish clear growth paths within the organization
  • Create a culture of accountability, discipline, competition, and excellence
  • Lead sales meetings, trainings, ride-alongs, coaching sessions, and performance reviews
  • Inspire teams to exceed goals while maintaining a winning culture

Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Drive aggressive and consistent revenue growth across all sales channels
  • Develop and execute scalable sales strategies and expansion plans
  • Increase self-generated lead volume and neighborhood canvassing performance
  • Implement KPIs, reporting systems, and accountability structures
  • Improve closing ratios, sales productivity, and overall profitability
  • Partner closely with marketing and operations to maximize customer experience

Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Build strategic relationships with:
    • Realtors
    • Property managers
    • HOAs
    • Insurance professionals
    • Referral partners
    • Community leaders
  • Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and community functions
  • Create long-term partnership opportunities that drive market growth

Performance Management

  • Track pipeline activity, forecasting, and sales metrics
  • Hold teams accountable to performance expectations
  • Build incentive programs and competition-driven environments
  • Quickly identify gaps and implement effective solutions
  • Continuously improve systems, training, and operational efficiency

What We’re Looking For

Required Experience

  • Proven success leading and scaling high-performing sales organizations
  • Strong recruiting and talent development background
  • Experience building self-generating sales teams
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and motivational skills
  • KPI-driven with strong organizational and operational abilities
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growth
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment

Preferred Background

  • Proven leadership experience within roofing, exterior restoration, home services, or in-home sales environments
  • Solar industry experience is considered a strong added bonus
  • HVAC and home efficiency industry experience is also highly attractive
  • Strong understanding of self-generated lead models, canvassing, relationship-driven sales, and customer acquisition strategies
  • Storm restoration and insurance-based sales experience preferred
  • Experience scaling multi-market sales organizations and building high-performance sales cultures is a plus
