Vice President of Quality and Product Performance - Cementitious Materials - Base Salary 165k/year - Naples, FL

• Our client is seeking a Vice President of Quality and Product Performance to lead quality strategy, product performance, and technical development across a portfolio of cementitious materials. This position focuses on cementitious blend design, supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs), novel binder technologies, quality control, and product performance optimization.
• This senior technical leadership role will oversee laboratory testing, material validation, new product development, and commercialization while working with operations, technical, and commercial teams to improve cementitious material performance and manufacturing quality.

Responsibilities:

• Lead quality assurance, quality control (QA/QC), testing standards, and continuous improvement initiatives for cementitious materials and products
• Direct cementitious blend design, mix optimization, and the development and evaluation of new binder technologies
• Establish product performance criteria, testing protocols, and quality specifications for cementitious materials
• Oversee laboratory testing, material characterization, product validation, and field performance evaluations
• Investigate product quality issues using root cause analysis, corrective actions, and process improvement methodologies
• Lead technical development, performance evaluation, and commercialization of new cementitious materials, binder formulations, and related products
• Evaluate supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs) and their impact on material properties, blend performance, and product consistency
• Analyze laboratory results, technical data, and field performance to identify product and process improvements
• Collaborate with operations, technical, and commercial teams on manufacturing quality, product specifications, and customer performance requirements
• Manage and develop technical teams responsible for quality control, laboratory testing, product development, and performance evaluation
• Ensure cementitious products consistently meet established quality standards, customer specifications, and performance requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field
• Senior leadership experience in cement, concrete, supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs), or a closely related industry
• Demonstrated experience in cementitious blend design, mix optimization, quality control, and product performance evaluation
• Experience developing, evaluating, or commercializing new cementitious materials, binder formulations, or binder technologies
• Experience overseeing laboratory testing, material characterization, product validation, and field performance evaluations
• Experience leading technical teams responsible for quality management, product development, testing, or continuous improvement
• Experience with technical data analysis, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality improvement initiatives

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 145k - 165k/year range, plus bonus opportunity
