Job Description

The Vice President of Partnerships will serve as a HITRUST brand evangelist by introducing strategic programs to potential customers and partners while serving as a trusted advisor. The ideal candidate will possess strong strategic leadership skills and will lead and drive key programs and services lines including, but not limited to HITRUST Assessment XChange™, HITRUST Results Distribution System™ (RDS), and others.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Expand HITRUST business across all verticals
• Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of products, services, and processes
• Create, coordinate, and implement business development strategies and tactics
• Identify, qualify, solicit, and follow up with prospects through multiple sales, communications, and marketing channels
• Participate in industry events and conferences on topics relevant to HITRUST; develop and deliver impactful presentations to the prospects and customers
• Build relationships with targeted industry influencers and leverage the relationships for recommendations, referrals, and leads
• Provide senior management teams with timely communications on the status of programs and strategies
• Travel up to 25%

Required Experience, Qualifications, and Skills:

• At least 5 years' experience with IT security sales
• Experience selling to CISO, Director of Security and other senior level contacts
• Strong negotiation and closing skills
• Proven ability to achieve sales quotas in target markets
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong MS Office Suite skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
• Ability to drive high-value meetings through challenging discussions
