Hiring Range: $140,000 - $160,000 annually DOQ

Position Overview

The Vice President of Operations is a senior executive responsible for leading the operational and financial infrastructure that supports our organization’s mission, performance, and long-term growth. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this position provides strategic leadership and oversight of Finance, Information Technology, and Facilities.

As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the VP of Operations partners closely with the CEO, CFO, VP of Services, and other organizational leaders to strengthen financial performance, improve operational efficiency, optimize technology and infrastructure, and ensure the organization is positioned for sustainable growth.

This role will also play an important part in growth and organizational strategy, including evaluating new opportunities, developing financial and operational feasibility analyses, assessing organizational capacity, and helping translate strategic opportunities into actionable plans.

We are seeking an experienced, forward-thinking leader who combines strong financial and operational acumen with strategic thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to lead complex initiatives across a large organization.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, operations, organizational leadership, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience, including significant responsibility for organizational operations, finance, or related administrative functions.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multiple functional areas and managing leaders.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and operational decision-making.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex organizational initiatives and process improvement.
  • Experience evaluating organizational investments, operational risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, and change-management skills.

Preferred

  • Master's degree in business administration, finance, organizational leadership, or related field.
  • Executive leadership experience within human services, healthcare, nonprofit, or another highly regulated environment.
  • Experience overseeing technology and/or facilities functions.
  • Experience developing business cases, evaluating new revenue opportunities, or implementing organizational growth initiatives.
