The VP of Novo will provide strategic oversight, operational leadership, and hands-on support to rehabilitation teams while maintaining strong relationships with administrators, physicians, and referral partners. This role plays a critical part in driving program success, improving clinical outcomes, and supporting organizational growth.
This position requires travel, including occasional overnight stays, to support multiple contracted facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Oversee day-to-day operations of rehabilitation teams across contracted skilled nursing facilities.
- Ensure appropriate therapy staffing levels, licensure compliance, and regulatory adherence.
- Evaluate program productivity, efficiency, and clinical performance across locations.
- Monitor financial and operational performance, including budgeting, payroll oversight, and P&L management.
- Develop and execute annual strategic plans aligned with company growth initiatives.
Clinical & Compliance Oversight
- Conduct routine documentation audits to ensure compliance, reduce medical errors, and prevent insurance denials.
- Monitor site-level reporting accuracy, including:
- - Medicare Part B cap monitoring
- - Compliance with the 8-minute rule
- - Group and concurrent therapy percentage standards
- - Allocation of therapy minutes based on payer guidelines
- Ensure therapy services meet federal, state, and payer regulatory requirements.
Human Resources & Team Leadership
- Lead recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and orientation for rehabilitation staff.
- Provide structured leadership and coaching through regular 1:1 meetings focused on performance, development, and company KPIs.
- Manage employee relations, including training, performance management, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Review and approve payroll for therapy teams.
Partnership & Relationship Management
- Foster strong working relationships with facility administrators, physicians, and healthcare providers.
- Support referral growth by maintaining strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure contracted facilities view therapy services as a trusted and valuable partner.
Marketing & Growth
- Implement marketing strategies to support program visibility, referral growth, and long-term sustainability.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for service expansion and program improvement.

Required Qualifications
- Fully licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), Physical Therapist (PT), or Occupational Therapist (OT) in good standing in the State of Oklahoma.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the Long-Term Care industry.
- Previous experience as a Rehab Director in a Skilled Nursing Facility is required.
- Proven experience overseeing rehabilitation program operations and team leadership.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing.
- Ability to travel regularly, including overnight stays, to support multiple facilities.
Preferred

Qualifications
- Experience with Net Health and PointClickCare software platforms.
- Knowledge of clinical operations within the long-term care/skilled nursing environment.
- Experience managing therapy productivity, reimbursement models, and payer compliance.
