• Report directly to the CEO and lead the enterprise-wide technology function for a large, complex manufacturing organization.
• Shape the technology roadmap to support continued growth, business transformation and future scalability.
• Onsite position outside of Cleveland, OH

Reporting to the CEO, this executive will serve as a key business partner across the company, ensuring technology priorities, investments and capabilities support continued growth, operational excellence and business transformation.

The VP of IT will lead a broad technology function spanning enterprise applications, business intelligence, cybersecurity, infrastructure, end-user support, manufacturing systems and project management. This leader will inherit an experienced team and will be expected to bring greater enterprise alignment, prioritization and leadership across the function while maintaining the reliability and security required in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an enterprise technology roadmap aligned with the company’s broader business strategy and growth objectives.
• Lead, develop and align a multi-functional IT organization, creating greater clarity, accountability and cross-functional collaboration.
• Partner with executive and operational leaders to translate business needs into practical technology solutions and investment priorities.
• Oversee enterprise systems and architecture, including ERP, business intelligence, infrastructure, cybersecurity and manufacturing execution systems.
• Ensure the reliability, resilience, security and scalability of technology supporting a 24/7 manufacturing operation.
• Manage IT capital and operating investments, prioritizing resources based on business value, risk and total cost of ownership.
• Lead modernization and continuous improvement efforts while balancing innovation with operational stability.
• Build strong partnerships with technology vendors and service providers and establish clear expectations around performance and value.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including 5+ years leading an enterprise IT function.
• Experience leading technology within a complex manufacturing environment; food manufacturing experience is highly valued.
• Broad technical understanding across ERP/business applications, BI and data, infrastructure, cybersecurity and manufacturing systems.
• Experience leading and developing leaders within a sizable, multi-functional IT organization.
• Strong track record managing technology investments, budgets and competing enterprise priorities.
• Ability to operate as a strategic business partner and communicate effectively with executives, operational leaders and Boards.
• Experience with Tier 1 ERP environments; SAP and full lifecycle ERP implementation experience are preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Ability to travel up to approximately 25%.
