This is a career-defining opportunity to build a scalable GTM capability connecting Marketing, Sales, industry experts, and pursuit teams around how MGT wins in public-sector markets. If you are looking for a job that challenges you and gives you the opportunity to make an impact, where ideas are encouraged, and an entrepreneurial spirit is essential, then MGT may be the place for you.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Develop and execute GTM strategies for MGT's priority solutions, markets, and customer segments to accelerate pipeline, adoption, and revenue growth
  • Translate Marketing positioning, campaigns, and insights into practical sales plays, playbooks, talk tracks, use cases, competitive messaging, and field-ready assets
  • Design repeatable GTM motions for net-new growth, cross-sell, market expansion, strategic accounts, and priority industry segments
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, practice leaders, pursuit/capture, proposals, channel, and Sales Operations to move GTM initiatives from strategy to field execution
  • Build and lead a field industry-expert capability, including recruiting, developing, and deploying Field CTOs or similar subject-matter experts
  • Position industry and technical experts in strategic customer meetings, executive briefings, events, and complex pursuits to strengthen credibility and sales execution
  • Embed subject-matter expertise into proposals and RFX development so pursuit teams have strong industry content without pulling sellers from customers
  • Develop GTM approaches for SLED buyers that reflect public-sector procurement, budget cycles, stakeholder dynamics, regulation, and event-driven engagement
  • Own field readiness for priority solutions and launches, ensuring sellers have the narratives, tools, training, competitive context, and proof points needed to win
  • Create feedback loops across customers, sellers, industry experts, Marketing, and practice leaders to refine messaging, solutions, and growth priorities
  • Use customer insights, competitive intelligence, win/loss analysis, market signals, and field feedback to continuously improve GTM priorities and sales plays
  • Establish GTM metrics and dashboards for sales-play adoption, influenced pipeline, conversion, win rates, sales-cycle impact, and field engagement
  • Embrace and integrate AI, automation, and emerging technologies into market intelligence, account prioritization, sales-play development, seller enablement, and proposal support with responsible-use practices
  • Present GTM strategy, field insights, program performance, market opportunities, and recommendations to executive leadership and other senior stakeholders

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Business, Marketing, Technology, Communications, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus
  • Fifteen (15) or more years of progressive experience in GTM strategy, product or industry marketing, sales strategy, business development, sales enablement, or a related B2B function
  • Proven experience launching and scaling sales plays and GTM programs that improve pipeline, adoption, field effectiveness, and revenue outcomes
  • Experience serving SLED or the broader public sector strongly preferred, with knowledge of government buying cycles, procurement, stakeholders, and complex pursuits
  • Experience working with or leading customer-facing technical and industry experts such as Field CTOs, solution advisors, or industry specialists
  • Ability to translate complex technology and advisory capabilities into clear customer value propositions, executive narratives, enablement, and sales motions
  • Strong analytical orientation with CRM, enablement, market-intelligence, and BI tools; demonstrated use of AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve insight and productivity
  • Excellent executive communication, program leadership, change-management, and stakeholder-influence skills across Sales, Marketing, practice, pursuit, and operational teams

KEY CHARACTERISTICS

  • Strategic builder and player-coach who moves quickly from market insight to field execution
  • Customer-focused, commercially minded, and influential leader who brings teams together around how MGT wins
  • Curious, technology-forward, and highly collaborative leader who thrives in ambiguity and a fast-paced, acquisitive environment
