Starting pay at $110,000/year DOE
Programs: Centers serving children from 6 weeks to 6 years of age:
A.W. Clark Child Development Center – licensed capacity of 235
Spellman Child Development Center – licensed capacity of 140
Tier 3 school for K-12: Lavigne Learning Center – approximate capacity of 40 students

As the Vice President of Educational Programming, you’ll be a key executive leader responsible for shaping the future of our early childhood and specialized K–12 education services. You will provide strategic direction, ensure regulatory excellence, and drive innovative instructional practices that support children and youth with emotional, behavioral, and social challenges. In short, our Vice President of Educational Programming will lead high‑impact programs, strengthen partnerships, and ensure the delivery of high‑quality, trauma‑responsive educational services.

QualificationsDo you think you’d be a good fit for this role? Ideally, you are:
• Equipped with a Master’s degree in Education or related field
• Experienced with 7+ years in educational programming and 5+ years in leadership
• Knowledgeable in child development, early childhood education, special education law, trauma‑informed practices, and social‑emotional learning
• Skilled in budget management, strategic planning, and data‑driven decision‑making
• Effective in collaboration with school districts, education agencies, mental health providers, and community partners
• A strong communicator with exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Confident making complex, high‑level decisions with sound judgment
• At least 21 years of age
Bonus Points
• Experience leading multi‑site or multi‑program educational systems
• Familiarity with quality rating systems, accreditation processes, or specialized therapeutic education
• Background in program growth, innovation, or grant‑funded educational initiatives
What You’ll Do
• Provide executive leadership to early childhood and K–12 educational programs
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local education regulations
• Oversee educational leadership teams, hiring, evaluation, coaching, and professional development
• Implement evidence‑based instructional models and trauma‑responsive approaches
• Lead fiscal stewardship—including budgeting, utilization, and resource allocation
• Partner across internal departments (finance, HR, facilities, clinical services, quality improvement)
• Collaborate with external stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and continuity of care
• Manage educational data, reporting, accountability measures, and continuous quality improvement
• Drive programmatic innovation, sustainability, and long‑term strategic vision
