The Vice President, Occupied Maintenance is responsible for providing national leadership and strategic direction for all occupied home maintenance operations across the Tricon portfolio. This role oversees both the National In-House Maintenance and National Vendor Maintenance departments. The primary focus of this position is to lead the enterprise-wide scaling of maintenance initiatives, enhance resident experience, drive efficiencies, reduce unproductive "windshield time," and generate new revenue streams. This leader will partner closely with centralized operations and Region of Excellence (ROX) leaders to enforce standards, optimize resource planning, and ensure service excellence.

Provide national leadership and governance over occupied maintenance programs (both in-house and vendor) to ensure cost, quality, and timeline excellence across a multi-state portfolio.
Spearhead the strategic expansion and scaling of ancillary maintenance service lines, targeting new market segments to drive diversified revenue growth and portfolio monetization.
Drive operational efficiencies by maximizing technician density and routing to effectively monetize gaps in scheduling and heavily offset payroll.
Partner with regional and field leadership (ROX VPs) to optimize resource planning, staffing models, and performance management.
Design and deploy scalable workforce strategies that prioritize service availability and resident satisfaction while driving maximum technician productivity and operational efficiency.
Champion technology enablement and process automation, guiding the transition from legacy systems and specialized pilot software to the new enterprise FSM platform.
Build and mentor high-performing teams, developing future leaders and reinforcing a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Strong analytical background and ability to learn new systems quickly.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Solid understanding of system optimization.
Proficiency with system analysis, automated products and services.
Proven experience in process improvement, automation, and client satisfaction.
Demonstrated experience in scaling new operational service lines or revenue-generating programs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 10+ years experience in operational leadership, with a focus on maintenance, construction, or field services at scale.
Strong preference for candidates with Single-Family Rental (SFR) or multi-site residential property management experience.

Salary Range
Placement within this compensation range will be determined by the candidate's knowledge, experience and skills.
$168,260.00 - $312,480.00
